Hilary Thompson

Registered Dental Hygienist

As a hygienist at Parkway Dental, I focus on providing the highest quality of care for all my patients. I believe in greeting you with a friendly smile in a welcoming environment and a safe space.

Calming dental fears and getting to know you on a personal basis is a core value at Parkway Dental. I am here to learn your dental history, listen to your concerns, and make a plan for your dental health. Touched by our patients’ many stories, jokes, adventures, and antics, I love the relationships I have been able to develop with my patients, many of whom I consider friends.

A little about me, I grew up in rural Nebraska on a sheep farm and graduated from the University of South Dakota with a dental hygiene degree in 2008. After graduation, my husband and I moved to St. George to raise our family. We have one son, two daughters, and one grandson. I love getting to coach and watch my girls play volleyball. I enjoy lifting weights (one thing I can beat Dr. Purser at), swimming, boating with my friends and family, and social outings.

With 13 years of dental experience under my belt, six of them being at Parkway Dental, I have loved growing in this wonderful field every year. As your dental financial coordinator, I am adept at navigating the complexities of insurance, financial planning, and payment options. I do my absolute best to craft customized financial plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.

Whether it’s maximizing insurance benefits, exploring flexible payment arrangements, or assisting with financial options, I am committed to finding solutions that will help you achieve the smile you have always wanted. When I am not crunching numbers, you will find me at home with my family being a mother, loving to craft, or out in the water splashing around.
